Natalie Hefner Art

Natalie Darr Hefner is an abstract artist living in Culpeper, Virginia. Natalie began creating art at a very young age; many of her fondest memories involve spending time painting and crafting with family members. Natalie had deeply meaningful artistic experiences as a youth that shaped the work she creates today. Natalie is known for her use of a variety of techniques including collage, mixed media painting and watercolor. Using an assortment of mediums Natalie creates vibrant, textured abstracts that have a sense of movement and draws the viewer in. She is drawn to bright color combinations and pushing the limitations of the materials she works with.Natalie loves thrifting on weekends with her husband and upcycling objects, some of which adorn her home studio and even make their way into her art pieces. Natalie is an exceptional mother to her three children and strives to find ways to celebrate family in even the most ordinary of days. When she isn't pursuing creative endeavors, she is an active humanitarian, an avid reader and loves her work as a healthcare revenue cycle professional.
